design ideas for a house?

I need ideas for designing my home. land 1600 (can built two and half storey). rectangular in shape with front door facingthe breath of the plot of land. any ideas? Thats 1600 sq foot. need one master walk in wardrobe..two junior rooms..the top floor/roof can be guess room /entertaning /etc

1. There are lots of floor plans out there, so I suggest you look at some and find one that suits your fancy. It depends on your lifestyle. For example, if you like to cook, you might want a large, gourmet kitchen. If you plan to entertain, a large casual (or formal) area to accomodate guests would be nice. Of course, I'm sure you'll want to include some outdoor areas for your enjoyment, such as patio, terrace, deck, balcony, etc. If you like to garden, you'll keep that in mind, certainly. If I were designing a house, I'd make sure the closets were adequate size, there was plenty of storage, and the bathrooms were functional and spacious, though not necessarily super-sized. While designing your home, keep in mind the resale aspect. At some point you may want to sell the house, so don't make it so personal and taste specific that prospective buyers would be put off. As for the top floor, your guess is as good as mine. It's anybody's guess what would be best!!!
