If you could design your dream house, in any architectural fashion, money is no object, how would you build it

Describe how it would look. Me? I love domes and spires, plenty of glass, and tons of bright colors.

1. Oh I love this question. I'm probably opposite to you, I would have a tall thin wooden house with lots of levels and little attic rooms and tiny balconies and spiral staircases and lots of little rooms hidden away. I would have a verandah all the way around and huge gardens. I love wood and natural materials and would prefer wooden floors and wooden window panes with windows quite low down with big sills that you can sit on. Open fireplaces in the main bedrooms and living room and a big bathroom with a sunken bath. lovely!

3. I'd love a Tuscan villa. Lots of natural stone in the huge kitchen and baths, beautiful tile floors and high ceilings, balconies off of the bedroom suites, and a large veranda with an outdoor kitchen overlooking my beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi. And windows, lots of windows. Oh, and a sweet little guest house for the housekeepers. Heck, you said if money was no object.
4. Like something from "Out of Africa" or an Aussie house. Big overhangs,porches. Heavy,smooth stucco walls, stone,thick wood pillars,tile. Earthy accessories. Built-ins. Simple heavy furniture and textiles.
5. Spanish style, tile roof, tons of windows, desert garden in the front, grass & pool in the back.
6. Maxed out Victorian, gingerbread, round rooms, wraparound porch.
