- I think if your good enough you can help with advertising and making brochures and stuff for big companies, im geussing that theres quite a bit of money in it and it dosent look boring.
- Hi there, You may possibly like to get into the Canvas Printing industry. It requires a lot of designing skills using various programmes. Check out the website my brother runs to get a better idea of what I'm talking about - http://www.choosecanvas.com/ Good luck !!
- it depends on your focus mine is probably gonna be Branding, so it would be logo design, and making promos for the business you can also do just logo design, packaging design, or maybe book design (book covers, magazines) there are a bunch of things to choose from, think about what you're most in to
- I have been a graphic designer for 15 years, there are many areas to go into, general marketing, company branding, 3d packaging. I was a magazine designer and loved it, had to start up my own business for surface graphics on textiles. Unfortunately the print and publishing world is suffering at the hands of the internet. Death to magazine, books and printed material. So a word of warning make sure the area you go into is future proof. I always thought people would prefer the printed paper magazine & books to the computer but that's not so. Even books are electronic. Now everyone is designing web sites and I can't ! Time to retrain.... Learn general graphic design and choose your path once you've learnt the basics. No reason to specialise now, you don't know how things are gonna be when you qualify.
