I need house plans of a house i want to build?

I have always loved this house in my city and would like to build one exactally like itin another state. how do i go about this? is there a website where i can search for house plans that have already been built in my area? I want to find the house plans for that house but where?

1. House plans are protected by copyright. You cannot get them without paying.
2. Contact the owner, the contractor, the real estate company, or the architect.
3. House plans are extensive, they are huge, multiple pages documents, as you have to have separate ones for each stage of construction. They are all protected by copyright and not sold cheaply. Your best bet is to hire yourself an architect and have them design you a close facsimile. As building codes vary by location you want to hire one in the location you plan to build the house.

5. The house in question could very well be a custom job. If it is truly the "one" I suggest you contact the owners to find out who the builder is and then chase down the plans. Otherwise you can look at the links listed below.
