Is green spring a good color for house (exterior)?
I am planning on painting house (bungalow type house). Not sure what paint color would be most appropiate. it is a small house, 2.5 rooms and one bathroom.

- On a small house, a light shade is better than a dark shade. A grayed color is better than a primary color. A subtle color is better than a bold color. Trim always looks better when lighter than the house color (really, white almost always looks best); doors and especially shutters usually look better when darker than the house color and can always be in a contrasting color. "Green spring" can mean any number of shades of green, but sounds too bold and bright to me. I'd go with a much lighter or grayed green, definitely a subtle, not bold, shade. If you live in a hot climate, light colors reflect sun better than dark ones. If you live in a cold climate, dark colors absorb more heat from the sun than light ones. You might need to consider the roof color when deciding the house color (or you can ignore it if you don't like it or you'll be replacing it before you paint again). Notwithstanding the first sentence, if the property lies such that your bungalow is really noticeable (sits above and/or near the street and not behind trees) and you live in a cold climate, a beautiful color combination is a medium green-with-lots-of-blue and a grayed purple door.
