Interior Design Challenge for bedroom!?

I'm redecorating my bedroom this summer, but i have absolutely no idea how to design it. If you like interior design please help me out! I'm a 16 year old girl, my favorite colors are blue and purple. I want a calm relaxing bedroom. It's fairly big and there are two windows on the far wall. If you want any other details just ask! Help me out, what kind of theme/ color design should i do? what kind of curtains etc. if you want to get really into it and find examples on the internet for me of designs/ themes/ accessories, that would be awesome!

1. Ok, if your going for relaxing, use plenty of harmonizing colours, not contrasting. For curtains on the windows, go with purple and white, and if your changing the floor, make it a light colour. The bed sheets have to match the curtains, so go with a purple blanket cover and white sheets and pillowslips. If your painting the walls, go with purple and light blue. Maybe a white background on the paint and blue and purple stripes-that would look really nice. If your getting a sofa in your room, or a futon or whatever, make sure its white and buy light blue and purple cushions. Paint any chest-of-drawers or cupboards white. If you have a desk, get a white lamp with a purple lampshade. Best of luck.
2. Okay. You have to decide weather the color you want your walls (blue/purple). If you pick Blue, then you can have your secondary color (accents i think) As purple. Accents are things like curtains, pillows/pillow cases, mini rugs, comforters, etc. So if your walls will be purple, your accents will be blue. For accents, you might want some white, because it will look to blue and purple. Good luck!
