ok, so anyone who is experienced in architectural software, im looking for software in which i can design my dream home, and even decorate the interior and exterior, anyone have experience? if so, please share, i dont want to buy a really bad one where it doesnt do much good. thanks

There are two really good programs. Both take a little bit to learn. http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/ Chief Architect is the easier to achieve results program of the two. It automatically goes for certain styles and does a good job of allowing you to put things together easily. Most first time users will probably like this one more than most others. http://www.punchsoftware.com/index.htm Punch software makes one of the most well known software packages for home design. It is a little more for CAD savy users. But you can do a lot more custom work with this package.

Holly Bump, Home design software is a tool that you can use to implement a design. It does not however help you to achieve great design. It also does not help you design to code or design functional spaces. Good design requires talent and experience. I am not trying to be a downer - but unless you possess a certain amount of natural design and technical ability, you might want to talk to a few design professionals.
