What is up with China, stealing military designs, and building up their military?

I have been reading daily news on line, and the most I see when I type in military, is China building up their military. and based on history news, the chinese have been stealing military designs from the U.S. . I for one am getting concerned if they are planning something big, perhaps a confrontation with the U.S. and as an American I wonder with how thinned out our military is over the world. how would we tend to react if China attacked? how would the world react? who would join who? who has the greater advantages? and what are your thoughts on this? I have also read that China predicts a confrontaion will occur in 5-10 years. what do you think about that?

1. 4 or 5 tactical nukes and we turn a country of 2 billion sceeming china men into a country about the same size as ours. evens out the odds a little. start building you bomb shelter. we taking back to the 50's.
2. I don't doubt it. Everything we buy is made in China and 80% of it goes to the military. Lucky for us most of their stuff is junk and doesn't work right. 4. lol america use nukes on china as a senior chinese military official said .....basically goes like...if america uses 1 nuke on china...china will use more than enough nukes on each state in 1 deadly attack to make the american country a mere desert....if i was american military i would be pretty worried cause the chinese and russians r making huge gains in military as their economies r improving(china especially..and russia improving through trade with iran(iran want weapons..russia want $$$) they both gettin wat they want)....besides china and russia are making very hi-tech sopisticated weapons in a joint plan to better any weapon america is making...thats y they want to makes their own 'NATO' with iran and other countries like that...ok if china attacked america would definitely use enormous force but too much force will lead to russia joining and u can bet ur a*se iran will join....north korea will join..and possible syria(probably helping iran more than attacking america)....america will have israel and UK...dont think france or germany will get involved...but this is not going to be in the next 5 yrs...probably next 10 or so yrs....russia and china wanna get ahead of american technology in military...right now america is can beat russia and china...but it will be long fight but within 5 yrs china could be above american military techs....i relli dont think they will either will use nukes...with 3 superpowers...no one will dare use them...otherwise the country that uses them will have hell to pay...they will use it as threats.... i think advantages r hard to predict...but in my opinion china will have the greater advantage as they have russia.....russia and china r near superpowers so it will be difficult for the american military.... if iran enters the fight ..hezbollah might hit israel...and the question is are the saudis relli an american friend or r they gathering hi-tech american weapons to fight america if such a war broke out.... americans will have everything to lose and china will have everything to gain.... usually the thing with everything to gain usually wins... 5. As of now...china knows that it doesn't have very high advanced weapons...to counter US. So it is stealing weapon designs and builing its own arsenal. Also don't forget that china is the fastest growing economy in the world. It is making lots of money. Also it is using countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and few other south asian countries to get the knowledge of american weapon system. What happens is that these countries have close relationship with China...and when US or any other NATO country sells weapon systems to these countries...China uses that friendship to gain knowlege about these weapon systems. As of now...the only possible confrontation that can occur is over the island of Taiwan. In another 5-10 years ...when china has a considerably big stockpile of weapons...and when it is strong enough to challange USA....it will try to annex Taiwan. Also...china knows that if USA attack china...and if China retaliates...then it will have to confront the whole of NATO. SO it is building up it military to confront not only THE US...but also the whole of NATO. Now in case the CHINA and The NATO goes into war with each other...then the only possible ally China can rely on is North Korea. THe other countries like Iran...and Syria...will keep their military in their own land for any possible repurcussions. In such case...if the regional stability of the whole region is at risk...then the NATO...may call up India. Depending upon the political situation...India would support the NATO...if NATO supports democratic government in CHINA. Pakistan would not get involved...because it would not want to risk going against either China or Nato. Bangladesh...can't get involved in the war. They don't have the resource. I don't think Russia will get involved. Russia would closely watch its border and increasing NATO influence. NOW THE BIGGEST DANGER LIES IN THE NUCLEAR STRIKES. DEPENDING UPON WHO FIRES FIRST...A NUCLEAR WAR WOULD BE DISASTROUS. SO IF U TAKE THIS POINT IN MIND...THEN ANY WAR ON TAIWAN...WOULD BE A SHORT ONE. THE CHINESE WILL ATTACK TAIWAN. TAIWAN CAN HOLD FOR A DAY MAXIMUM...WHILE US TROOPS LAND ON TAIWAN. OF COURSE...THE ISLAND OF TAIWAN WOULD BE COMPLETELY BLOCKADED...BUT THE US WILL HAVE SUPERIOR ADVANTAGE DUE TO ITS SUPERIOR AIR FORCE. SO BASICALLY...THIS SITUATION WOULD REMAIN IN A STALEMATE...IF THE SITUATION DOESN'T EVOLVE INTO THE NEXT LEVEL...WHICH IS NUCLEAR STRIKE.
6. All the answers, you've been reading above is stupid. The fact remains that China and United States both have nuclear weapons. They won't fight a war against each other, because they know they'll destroy each other. The news reports about China building it military is just "anti-China" propaganda. China has always been building its military. The military force isn't for fighting against countries who have nuclear weapons. The military force is for fighting against countries that don't have nuclear weapons that poses a threat to the country. The anti-China sentiment arises because of trade surplus and China has been selling a lot of cheap goods in the United States. However, we don't have to worry economically about this. The people who are complaining doesn't understand economics. There is no escaping cheap goods regardless of which country you're from. Some people believe that we should just stop China's cheap goods from coming into the country and the problem is solved. Those who advocate this doesn't understand economics. The leaders of your countries do understand economics and that's why they allow cheap goods to come in. Let's look at it this way, so it'll be clearer. Let's compare United States and Canada. Each country is like a corporation competing to make more money. Let's suppose the Corporation named, the United States, decides to stop buying cheap goods from China. While, the Corporation named, Canada, continues to buy cheap goods from China. In the end, Canada will have LOWER EXPENSES as an entire country, which means it will have HIGHER PROFITS. United States has the exact opposite, because of higher expenses, because it is buying more expensive goods. The United States has LOWER PROFITS. From the example, I hope that I've illustrated in a simple way why countries continue to allow China's goods to come into the country. If any country stops cheap China products from coming in, it will do more harm to their country than help. This is because other competing countries, such as Canada, U.K., France, Germany and so on will have LOWER COSTS. These competing countries will grow stronger, while United States will lag behind. This is why stopping goods from China doesn't make sense. However, China cannot keep producing cheap goods forever. At some point, China will modernize and the chinese workers will slowly ask for higher wages, which will slowly increase prices of the goods they sell. In the end, China will lose their advantage for selling cheap goods.
