Architectural Designs

What's the difference between a landscape architect and a landscape designer?

Best answer will be the answer that gives a detailed explanation of each occupation. But is the basic difference a landscape architect designs the area and a landscape designer will actually create the plan? Or is a landscape architect basically a more qualified landscape designer who does the same job, but for more money because of more knowledge studied?

  2. simply put.... the architect has the ability to move a mountain in your backyard, in such as way as to not flood the neighbors or create landslides..... then the designer decorates it by choosing the best plants for the area.....
