- Typical day tasks apply customers dreams to reality regarding the law and the laws of physics. The pay is good. Depends on you. Yes it is stressful and you do get to travel. Jobs are tied to the economy and they can be outsourced overseas.
- do you mean architectural engineering or architectural design? Engineering is the, well, engineering side of it. You are involved with the actual construction of the buildings and details like wiring and lighting. Design is more of the artistic side, creating a vision of what one wants to build. Architects build plans for actual buildings, which must follow the laws of physics and safety while designers aren't necessarily constrained to that (if they're doing things like concept art). The pay will depend on your job. Architects and architectural engineers will be paid much better than concept artists. It can be enjoyable, it depends on the individual. Typically they are difficult and somewhat stressful jobs, though. As an engineer, in the worst case if your design fails, the building could become worthless or it could collapse. As an architect, if your design fails the building could collapse. For travel, again depending on the job, you may be called to travel to different places to work on, or consult on, a project.
