anyone knows about interior design in creating a peaceful bedroom?

hi i am doing over my bedroom i have painted it in a nice earth tone yellow...but need ideas on how to decorate my room so it can be a calm and relaxing enviroment for me to be in...a place where all my worries can seem less stressful...anyone with good ideas please do tell me =)

1. Do a little research on Fung-say (not the correct spelling), but it will give you some ideas.
2. Candles, incense, soft music or natural sound CD's to start. Your ceiling shouldn't be white, but a shade or 2 lighter than your walls. Comfy stuff like a down duvet & lots of pillows in snuggly fabrics. Nature inspired things are always comforting, so take inspiration from nature. If there's room, get an electric fireplace. A fountain is nice as well - there's nothing more relaxing than the sound of water. I find gray to be a relaxing color & it compliments yellow very well - think of it as the color of rocks. So use some gray as accents. Speaking of rocks, I love them for their pure organic nature. I have them everywhere. Find some nice smooth rocks to just pick up & hold in your hands & meditate. Works for me!!!
3. you want a calm relaxing environment,not too much going on.one idea is to paint the ceiling ans coving the same colour as the walls to take your eye off the colour,relax have some wood,straw baskets,natural lighting if you can possibly a wooden blind a picture of your favourite place or a wall art of the sand or sea relaxing or mountains.dont have a tv on or the phone ringing just a place for you:)
