What is the cost of getting house plans drawn up by engineer/architect?

Hi all, does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have house plans drawn up? Not for an extension (yet), just the existing house as is. Thanks in advance.

2. why would u want plans drawn for an existing how, it would already have one surely
