- It is 100% accurate, just as the advertised price on EVERYTHING for sale must be....
- thats probably not too far off assuming a builder is involved
- over 5,700 feet. that's a big house. some nice touches. wonder if your price includes the pool? i know an old guy locally spent $500k on a log chalet, considerably smaller and he cut corners and did some of the work. cost to build a home can range from $80 to over $200 a foot. yours is $131 per foot not including the land. that's not outrageous. there are ways to considerably cut your costs.
- It would cost more than that around here. That ad says "uncompromising luxury" and around 5700 sf. An ordinary house here, with no fancy stuff, would cost at least $150/sf, so 5700 sf would be $855,000. "Uncompromising luxury" could easily be, say, $225/sf, a little over a million and a quarter. It could be even more, depending what kind of luxuries you wanted.
- A few things to figure that they don't mention. Yep Land, something that big you will want a big chunk. okay, driveway, pad to build on, foundation, do you need a well? septic, power, planning & permits. Okay that is just to start. With that big of house you could spend 500K easy before the walls even go up.
- Appears they only sell blueprints. One can make their own blueprints based on your local city codes, and with some type of blueprints understandings.
- It could easily. It also depends where Wu are building it. That dollar amount may only include the cost of the foundation, lumber and I assume the labor. Things like all the landscapping, plumbing, sinks, showers, tubs, flooring, windows etc., may not even be included! It could end up being a 1.5 million dollar house, by the time you're done. You'll have to check into it a lot more. Find out what that $860,000 is actually going to get you.
