What is Architectural design in the broadest sense?

Im almost done with high-school and been thinking about what im looking to do and study after. Ive always enjoyed building things with my hand. Drawing and building scaled items or what ever i can with the material i had at my disposal. interesting projects. I even looked into prop creation or design. Im looking to know more of the opportunities in architecture. Thank you.
