what are the career options for a structural engineer?

I know structural engineer can work for design offices, building departments, construction companies, teaching at schools...I have been working as structural engineer for almost five years and am doing my career planing. Any insight would be very appreciated!

1. What? 5 years as structural engineer and don't even know what you can do? I don't understand your question at all maybe I'm missing something.
2. Well the career options would the ones you listed. Also if they is a company you like a lot they may have a department closely related to what you do. I think teaching is something you can do after 10 years + as an engineer. Construction is good. Consultancy pays well.
