Architecture Software?

Could anyone tell me of a great software for architectural purposes. Something to design housing and office buildings preferably. Preferably a 3D scale.

1. For pc the most common (at least in Europe) are Autocad and Archicad. Autocad can do almost everything if you have the patience to learn it. Archicad I think works more with templetes, you assemble predesigned elements. For mac the best is Vectorworks.
2. you can us 3DsMAX and AutoCAD but for prezentation 3DsMAX it's the best ;)
