Architectural Designs

what is the proper architectural design of a masjid based from the hadith?

should it be opened on all sides , or just a single door with the back of the muslims towards the door. the kutbah of today was about how most muslims have lowly jobs and not successful in big businesses and that affects how the dawah towards others negatively. I have chinese blood so I come to know about "feng Shui" or the arrangement of a house ,building or place can affect our brain pattern into making us carefree or super critical, thinkers without actions or doers without thinking, business minder or spendthrifts, even early death, infidelities to strike etc. I don't know if this is shirk since I don't associate anything besides allah swt in this concept. I have talk to some Iranians muslims and they don't know about this word or practice then, since it is chinese word meanig "air-water" balance. But they did conclude that they also arrange their main door so as not to face the direction where the wind with the most sand storm come from. as salamu alaikom wa rahmatallah of course, it should face the kibla but , how about the doors, are there many doors or only one door in big masjid, there are many doors on three sides or would it be considered bida if the arrangement is not in accordance with those in the hadith

  1. We alekumusleam, Simple and very accommodating. It also depends on the environment. Which part of the World's corner is in.
  2. A mark facing mecca and clean ground. Did you know Al Aqsa was a field when the Prophet performed salat there leading previous immportant prophets. -- majsid doesnt mean a building. Early masjids looked like open cowsheds. The masjid i go to have 2 to 3 doors, nothing to do with fengshui, only direction and cleanliness matters.
  3. Many muslims in India are following Vasthu to build mosque
