constructing a new house?

Hi. What is the difference between a bungalow with attic and "one and a half floor"/Chalet bungalow house? We do not really plan on constructing a second storey so we're confused as to the correct term for the additional area. Thank you.

1. A bungalow attic is an indoor space under the roof of a house. A chalet bungalow is a small living space on the second floor of the house.
