There are universities and art colleges that offer interior design programs with a bachelor's degree in interior design. There are Interior Design only colleges, like the Design Institute of San Diego (http://www.disd.edu) that also offer a bachelor's degree in interior design. Going to a school that specializes in, or has a very good, interior design program will better prep you for a career and increase your marketability for job offers.
