Why can't I find very many solar powered house plans for small cabins or houses?

2. You don't need a specific design to add solar pv or solar water heating to any building. If you are looking for passive solar that is a different thing all together, and the location will have so much to do with the potential that I don't think you could have a 1 size fits all design.
