What do these people who put all the rap garbage out there for people to listen to have in common?

Clive Davis David Geffen Richard Branson Tommy Mattola Beside's the fact that each are worth more than 100 million a piece and hold the distribution rights to 75% of the rap industry. People are quick to point out the hypocricy in others but fail to see it in themselve. GM Pull their adds from imus ,but wasnt it Crystler who solicited Snoop dawg along with Lee Iococa for its commercials,and cadilac had him design the Snoop Devile. How can anyone hold the black community soley responsible for rap music ,when its simple supply and demand .the supply urban communities the demand the suburbs who account for 60% of all sales. And a double standard if any would be not to hold the above mention gentlemen who have built empires, equally responsible. Ciggarettes are known killers thats an undeniable fact. "Why dont we hold the the employees of Phillip Morris responsible"

4. /shrug I happen to like rap music. I don't begrudge people who put out a product and make good money from it. Plus I really don't see the rap comunity as the driving force behind what is happening with Imus. Truth is it is mostly whites doing the double standard. True you have Al and Jesse in the mix but it is mainly white main stream guilty of the double standard.

6. I agree with you completely. For example, it wasn't until BET became "white owned" that it became truly ghetto. Positive programs such as the Tavis Smiley show were canceled and replaced with more hip hop videos, especially the sexually explicit, controversial, Uncut video series which drew a wide range of protests from religious and political advocates, including Jackson and Sharpton. In the end we must stop passing the blame and start being accountable for our actions. Peace.
