I want 2 start home based building designing.I know may latest software.Can any one help me to get my 1st proj

I want to use my knowledge of Staad,autocad,primevera,3Ds max,archi cadd and start my business .Can anyone help me to get my 1st project in which I can use all these software and design buildings to earn some money only or will anyone be kind enough to give me a part of there project to do so I can gain any experience in this field?I want to start a home based job of designing building can any one help me?

1. You should go to sites where you can bid on small projects and start building up a customer list... Good Luck!
2. build yourself a website that shows your skills. mine is here: http://www.architecturalscience.com Then start hitting boards like http://www.craigslist.org and post ad's. Send out flyers to any local contractors or real estate developers telling them what you do. Search for 'freelance work' on google. there are a lot of websites for this kind of stuff, I just can't remember them right this second... Sell your 3D models on http://www.turbosquid.com I have only 3 simple models for sale there and I make at least $15 a month (not much, but imagine if you had a couple hundred models for sale). they also have a freelance forum where people are looking for modelers and drafters... that's about all I got, good luck :)
